Lisa F Petak

Lisa Faye Petak joined the firm in 2018 as an associate in the litigation department.  Her practice is focused on general litigation matters, including commercial litigation, real estate and probate disputes, and wrongful termination.


Originally from Colorado, Lisa earned degrees from American University and the University of Chicago before working for a national women’s reproductive rights non-profit and then The New York Times in Washington, DC. She then moved back west for law school where, as a member of the third graduating class of the University of California, Irvine School of Law, she chaired the Women’s Law Society, served as President of the Moot Court Board, and advocated for her classmates as President of the Student Bar Association.


Prior to joining Mullen & Henzell, Lisa served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Otis D. Wright, II, U.S. District Judge for the Central District of California. She also litigated plaintiff-side mass tort cases and environmental and consumer class actions in New York City, Seattle, and Santa Barbara
